Fantastic event, loved the river crossings. If you want something different definitely give this event a go.
Overall fantastic, a couple of places was unsure if we were going the right way due to no signage but appreciate that the course was vandalised beforehand.

Terrific Course
I try and enter this race every year, the scenery is wonderful. Its a tough technical course but I always thoroughly enjoy the event. Its well marshalled and very friendly there is also always good support from other users of the area which helps when you need that little extra encouragement.

Didn’t feel like I’d done a 10k as the scenery kept me focused rather than thinking distance. Well marshalled. Prepare to get wet as there are 2 sections where you cross the river, it was below knee & very refreshing! Great parking & easy to find.
Good access to toilets, food & drinks pre & post race. Not 1 to get a PB as lots of tree roots, hill sections, uneven surfaces & gates. Most scenic run I’ve done & will be back!

Done this event a few times and it’s always well organised and lovely staff in the pub afterwards loved it this morning.
